Valley Sport ReportTHE VALLEY — Athens softball and Waverly baseball wrap up the regular season on the diamonds Friday, while Waverly track & field competes in its final meet before postseason action begins.
SOFTBALL
Athens (18-1) at Towanda (10-5), 4:30 p.m.: The Wildcats are coming off an 11-0 win over Canton, while the Black Knights topped Cowanesque Valley, 6-1.
Athens won the first meeting, 2-0, in the season opener.
BASEBALL
Waverly (10-7) at Elmira (7-11), 5 p.m.: The Wolverines are coming off a 7-6 loss to Windsor Monday, while the Express cruised to a 19-3 win over Seton Catholic Thursday.
