Valley Sports ReportSHIPPENSBURG — Sayre senior Marco Quiros made his final high school run on the state's biggest stage, but it was from his best performance.
Quiros finished 24th in the 200-meter dash preliminaries at the PIAA Track and Field Championships here Friday at Shippensburg University.
Running in the Class AA Championships, Quiros clocked in at 23.66 seconds in the cool and windy conditions, placing seventh in his heat, and 24th out of 30 runners.
Quiros won the 200-meter dash at the District 4 Championships in a time of 22.63 seconds.
