TIOGA CENTER — Former NCAA National Qualifier and New York State Champ John Worthing headlines a star-studded group of coaches for the "Tioga Style Wrestling Camp" here in the middle school gymnasium July 7-9.
The camp is for wrestlers in kindergarten through 12th grade, and costs $75 per athlete.
There will be two sessions per day — from noon to 2 p.m., and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Worthing, who was a four-time Mid-American Conference place-winner, will be joined by former Tioga standouts Brady Worthing, Caden Bellis, Ousmane Duncanson, Gianni Silvestri, and Tyler Roe as coaches for the week.
• Duncanson, who is currently wrestling at Division I Lock Haven, was a three-time N.Y. State champion.
• Bellis, who is currently wrestling at Division I Penn, was a four-time N.Y. State place-finisher, a one-time state champion, and a Cadet Fargo All-American.
• Silvestri, who recently transferred from Division I Clarion to Div. I Buffalo, was a two-time N.Y. State champion, and a two-time runner-up.
• Brady Worthing, a former Division I wrestler at Clarion, was a three-time N.Y. state place-finisher, and one-time state champion.
