NEW YORK STATE FLAG FOOTBALL: WAVERLY'S WESTBROOK EARNS THIRD-TEAM CLASS C ALL-STATE NOD (2025-07-24)

WAVERLY — Senior Addison Westbrook had a record-setting season on both sides of the ball for the Waverly flag football team, and was honored as a third-team all-state selection on offense on New York State C Flag Football all-star teams.

Westbrook, who missed her junior season with a major knee injury, had 65 receptions for 980 yards, and 15 TDs — all school records. She also rushed for more than 100 yards, and two TDs.

In Waverly's two playoff games, she has 11 catches for 157 yards and two TDs, and ran the ball three times for 75 yards, and one score. 

Westbrook also set records on defense. She recorded a school-record 12 interceptions, including a school-record six pick-6s.

Westbrook was also the last line of defense in the secondary, registering several TD-saving tackles during the season.

Westbrook scored 23 TDs on the season — also a school-record.
