WINDSOR — Waverly sophomore Griff Walter earned low-medal honors, but Windsor had a bit more depth to pull out a 232-238 win here Wednesday afternoon in STAC boys golf action at Golden Oaks Golf Course.
Walter fired a 3-over par 38 on the front nine, and sophomore Daniel Brady shot a career-best 40, while senior Mac Talada added a 48.
Junior Daniel Fischer carded a 55 for the Wolverines, and senior Tammo Bruns added a 57. Freshman Landon Munn tacked on a non-scoring round of 67.
Jack Wharton shot a 39 to lead Windsor, while Dylan Terrell and Alex Young carded rounds of 45 and 46, respectively.
Waverly, now 0-2, returns to action Thursday at Oneonta.
