Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY — Tioga football is on the road at Deposit-Hancock, while Tioga hosts the Tioga Volleyball Tournament in the marquee events on a busy Saturday morning and afternoon that also features home matches for Sayre and Athens volleyball, and Athens boys soccer.
FOOTBALL
Tioga (0-1) at Deposit-Hancock, 1:30 p.m.: The Tigers are coming off a 9-7 loss to Windsor at Waverly's Memorial Stadium in Week Double-Zero.
The Tigers defense played well considering it was on the field way too much.
The offense on the other hand managed just 91 yards in total offense, and two first downs.
VOLLEYBALL
Tioga HOSTS Tioga Tournament, 8 a.m.: Tioga hosts its annual tournament today with a 10-team field.
In Pool 1, Tioga will be joined by Candor, Chenango Forks, Delhi and Oneonta. In Pool 2, it will be Chenango Valley, Corning, Dryden, Trumansburg, and Unatego.
