Valley Sports ReportBRIDGEWATER, Va. — Tioga grad Julia Bellis, a senior defensive specialist on the Bridgewater College volleyball team, started in all three of the Eagles' sweeps over the weekend.
Bellis recorded five digs in a sweep of Hollins College. On Friday.
Saturday morning, Bellis recorded four digs and one setter assist in sweep of Pfeiffer College.
In the weekend finale, Bellis had three digs and two assists in a sweep of Greensboro.
On the season, Bellis has played in all 10 of Bridgewater's matches — starting five of them. She has 43 digs, three service points, three aces, and seven setter assists.
Bridgewater College, now 7-3, returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Mary Washington College.
