WINDSOR — Senior Mira Kittle won four events, and the 200-yard medley relay broke another record in Waverly's 122-45 win over Windsor here Tuesday afternoon in STAC girls swimming action.
Freshmen Natalie Steck and Audrey Kellogg were triple-winners for the Wolverines, who improve to 3-0, while senior Olivia Cheresnowsky, sophomore Lauryn Welles, and freshman Megan Atanasoff were double-winners.
Kittle, Cheresnowsky, Steck, and Atanasoff teamed to win the 200-yard medley relay in a new pool record time of 1:55.2. The relay eclipsed the mark of 1:58.69 set in 2010.
Kittle, Cheresnowsky, Kellogg and freshman Brynna Twedt teamed to win the 400-yard freestyle relay in a time of 4:11.18, while the Waverly foursome of Isabella Miner, Lizzy Robinson, Sophie Williams and Harper Varano was second in 5:03.83.
Kellogg and Atanasoff teamed with freshman Ayla Wheeler and Welles to win the 200-yard freestyle relay in a time of 1:48.75
Kittle led a sweep in the 50-yard freestyle, clocking in at a time of 25.05 seconds, with Atanasoff second in 26.46 seconds, and Cheresnowsky third at 26.64 seconds.
Kittle led a sweep in the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 1:03.48, while Cheresnowsky was second in 1:04.98, and Twedt was third in 1:13.39.
Steck won the 200-yard IM in a time of 2:35.77, and Twedt was second in 2:43.15.
Steck also won the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:18.62, and Welles was second in 1:23.08.
Kellogg won the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:18;.06, and Varano was second in 2:51.48.
Welles led a sweep in the 100-yard freestyle, clocking in at 58.12 seconds, with Atanasoff second in 58.3 seconds, and Wheeler third in 1:04.59.
Robinson won the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 1:17.2, and Varano was third at 1:54.2.
Miner won the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 7:00.654, and Williams was third in 7:17.43.
Waverly returns to action Sept. 25 when it hosts Susquehanna Valley.
