Valley Sports ReportSAYRE — Sayre rolled to a sweep of Cowanesque Valley here Tuesday night in NTL Small School Division volleyball action to improve to 3-3 on the season.
The Redskins won by scores of 25-18, 25-9, and 25-16 to complete a season series sweep of the Indians.
Alex Schack led Sayre with 11 service aces, eight digs, and two setter assists, while sophomore Reghan McGaughey had five aces, 10 kills, and six digs, and senior Rylee Lantz registered 11 kills, three blocks, two aces, and two digs.
Junior Yhale Doon recorded 16 assists and six digs win the win, while freshman Lilliana Schack had six digs, five assists, and two kills, Grace Russo added six digs, two aces, and two kills, junior Azalea McClenny chipped in with two kills.
Sayre returns to action Thursday in a key divisional match-up at Canton.
