DAVIDSON, N.C. — Athens grad Hannah Walker, a senior on the Division I St. Bonaventure women's soccer team, scored her first collegiate goal Thursday night in a 2-1 loss at Davidson in Atlantic-10 action.
Walker fielded a pass from Nacelle Heredia on the left wing, an hit a long looping shot over the keeper's head into the side of the net at the far post to give the Bonnies a 1-0 lead with 2:13 remaining in the first half.
It was Walker's first shot-on-goal this season.
Walker has started in all 10 of St. Bonaventure's games this season, and is averaging 77.9 minutes per game.
For her career, Walker has started 43 of the 62 games she's played in, including 43 of 45 in the last three season. She has one goal and five assists.
The Bonnies, now 3-5-2, return to action today when they host Rhode Island in an Atlantic-10 contest.
