Valley Sports ReportTIOGA CENTER — Tioga and Waverly posted 4-4 records in pool play, and finished third in their respective pools here Saturday at the annual Tioga JV Volleyball Tournament.
Ithaca won Pool 1 with a 7-1 record, while Candor was runner-up at 5-3, Tioga and U-E were each 4-4, and Delhi posted an 0-8 mark.
Corning was perfect at 8-0 in pool play, while runner-up Lansing was 6-2, Waverly was 4-4, Dryden was 2-6, and Unatego was 0-8.
In the semifinals, Ithaca topped Lansing, 25-15, and Corning rolled over Candor, 25-10.
Corning also rolled in the finals, topping Ithaca, 25-10.
