Valley Sports ReportCHEMUNG — Waverly had five golfers shoot between 45 and 47, but Chenango Forks' Jackson Mines' low-medal round of 43 was the difference in a 228-232 Blue Devil victory here Tuesday afternoon in STAC Central Division boys golf action at Tomasso's Golf Course.
Sophomore Griff Walter led Waverly with a 45 on the par-35 front nine at Tomasso's, while senior Tammo Bruns shot a 45, and senior Mac Talada, junior Daniel Fischer and sophomore Daniel Brady added rounds of 47.
Sophomore Trevor Allen added a non-scoring round of 52.
Waverly returns to action Wednesday at Susquehanna Valley.
