Valley Sports ReportMORAVIA — Moravia raced out to a 5-0 halftime lead en route to a 6-0 win over Tioga here Tuesday afternoon in Section IV field hockey action.
The Blue Devils scored two goals in a 23-second span, and led 2-0 just 44 seconds into the contest.
Moravia tacked on three more goals in the second quarter for a 5-0 lead at the intermission.
Moravia had a 23-0 advantage in shots-on-goal, and a 12-0 edge in penalty corners.
Vangie Decker recorded 18 saves in the cage for the Tigers.
Tioga returns to action Thursday at Maine-Endwell.
