STAC BOYS GOLF: WAVERLY LOSES BY 4 STROKES FOR SECOND TIME IN THREE DAYS (2025-10-09)

BINGHAMTON — Sophomore Griff Walter earned low-medal honors, but for the second time in three nights, Waverly lost by four strokes, this time in a 239-43 decision to Chenango Valley here Thursday night in STAC boys golf action at Chenango Valley State Park.

Walter fired a 39 on the par-36 front nine, while sophomore Daniel Brady shot a 46 for the Wolverines.

Senior Mac Talada carded a 51 for the Wolverines, while junior Daniel Fischer added a 53, and sophomore Trevor Allen tacked on a 54. Senior Tammo Bruns had a non-scoring round of 64.

John Paste led CV with a 44.

Waverly wraps up the regular season Monday when it hosts Seton Catholic.
