ROME — Sayre had a pair of runners compete in the NTL Boys Coaches Invitational here Saturday.
Junior Glenn VanBenthuysen was 60th in a time of 22:16.7 on the 3.11-mile course, and freshman Jayden Sinsabaugh was 71st in a time of 27:05.8.
Towanda won the NTL title with 85 placement points, edging out Troy by 1 points, NEB was third with 93 points, and Sullivan County was fourth with 106.
NP-Mansfield junior James Knefley won the individual goal, clocking in with a time of 16:31.9, while Canton senior Lawrence Halbfoerster was second in 16:33.6, and Wellsboro senior Henry Whitney was third in 16:36.6.

Peter Menio finished 19th in a time of 12:26.1 on the 0.99-mile course.
