Valley Sports ReportWHITNEY POINT — Freshman Reese Mills and senior Talon Wood paced Tioga's efforts Tuesday afternoon at the Whitney Point Cross Country Invitational.
Mills placed eighth in a time of 23:28.7 as the only entry for the Tioga girls.
Wood finished 15th in the boys race in a time of 19:46.2, while freshman Logan Bensley was 60th in 26:20.6, and sophomore Carter Allen was 71st in 31:44.4.

On the boys side, 8th-grader Andrew Mills finished 23rd in a time of 11:40.1.
For the girls, 8th-grader Jaida Philhower was 25th in 14:46.9, while 8th-graders Emma Swartz (19:23.5) and Noel Williams (20:38.6) were 33rd and 34th, respectively.
Tioga returns to action next Tuesday in the IAC Championships at Marathon's Appleby Elementary School course.
