TRUMANSBURG — Tioga battled back to even the match at 1-1, but Trumansburg pulled out a three-set win here Tuesday evening in an IAC Large School Divisional playoff match.
The Blue Raiders won the first set, 25-23, but the Tigers responded with a 25-21 win.
Trumansburg won the decisive third set, 25-17, and will now host Lansing Thursday for the IAC Large School JV championship.
Kate Kithcart led Tioga with five service points, 22 setter assists, and seven digs, while Brianna Lounsbury had five points, eight kills, and seven digs, Aniya Amerman had six points and nine digs, and Lizzie Seck had three points (two aces), nine kills and four digs.
Riley Butler had five points for the Tigers, while Courtney Smith registered seven kills and 14 digs, Kaylynne Miller added four assists, and Kendra Hale chipped in with three digs.
Tioga finishes the season at 12-5.
