Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY — Athens and Sayre will compete Thursday morning at the District 4 Cross Country Championships at Bloomsburg University, while Sayre volleyball travels to Wyalusing for the final regular-season event of the 2025 fall season.
CROSS COUNTRY
District 4 Championships, 9:30 a.m. @ Bloomsburg Univ.: Athens sophomore Alissa Vough and junior Jacob Shores are Athens best bets in the Class AA race to qualify for the PIAA Championships.
A wild card could be the return of two-time state qualifier Graham Wanck, who has missed the entire season to this point with an injury.
