COLLEGE WRESTLING: TIOGA GRAD DUNCANSON WINS BRACKET AT JOURNEYMEN COLLEGIATE CLASSIC (2025-11-10)

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Tioga grad Ousmane Duncanson, a redshirt freshman on the Division I Lock Haven wrestling team, went 4-0 to win the 165-pound Blue Bracket at the 2025 Journeymen Collegiate Classic at Freedom High School.

In his opening match of Pool B action in the Blue Bracket, Duncanson was locked in a 1-1 match with Virginia's Macon Ayers, but scored a takedown early in the third period, and another one midway through the period to win a 7-2 decision.

In his second bout, Duncanson scored a takedown off the opening whistle and decked Sacred Heart's Nicholas Lackland in 17 seconds.

In his final pool play match, Duncanson scored a pair of second-period takedowns to take an 8-1 lead on his way to an 8-2 win over LIU's Jordan Barry.

In the 165-pound "Blue" finals, Duncanson scored a takedown  45 seconds in his bout with Maryland's A.J. Rodrigues to give him a 3-0 lead after the first three minutes.

In the second period, Duncanson scored a takedown to extend his lead to 4-0, but Rodrigues scored a takedown with 13 seconds remaining to close the gap to 4-3.

Rodrigues chose neutral to start the third period, but the duo remained on their feet for the entire two minutes to give Duncanson the 4-3 win.

Duncanson, who was 4-2 last season, is 4-2 on the season.
