ON TAP TODAY: WAVERLY GIRLS SWIMMING IN FOUR 'A' FINALS AT DAY 2 OF STATE MEET (2025-11-22)

THE VALLEY — Waverly senior Mira Kittle will swim in three "A" finals today at the New York State Girls Swimming Championships, including a pair of relays.

GIRLS SWIMMING
New York State Championships, 10 a.m. @ Webster Aquatic Center:
Kittle will be swimming in the A finals in both the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke.

She will also swim in the A finals in the 200-yard medley relay, teaming with senior Olivia Cheresnowsky and freshmen Natalie Steck and Megan Atanasoff.

Sophomore Lauryn Welles will swim in the B finals of the 50 and 100 freestyle races, and freshman Megan Atanasoff will be in the C finals of the 50 free.

Welles and Atanasoff will team with Cheresnowsky and freshman Audrey Kellogg in the A finals of the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Kittle, Welles, Atanasoff and Kellogg will swim in the C finals of the 400-yard freestyle relay.
