NTL VOLLEYBALL: ATHENS' MOSHER NAMED LARGE SCHOOL 'PLAYER OF YEAR;' THREE WILDCATS EARN ALL-STAR HONORS (2025-11-27)

ATHENS — Athens sophomore Elle Mosher has been named the Large School "Offensive Player of the Year," and junior Megan Wiles and freshman Kayla Forbes were named first-team all-stars in recent voting by the league's volleyball coaches.

Sophomore Lainey Vosburgh earned a second-team Large School all-star nod.

Mosher, a hitting machine, led the Wildcats with 285 kills, with a kill rate of 33.2 percent, and a hit rate of 23.4 percent.

Mosher also had 132 service points, including 48 aces, 203 digs, 301 serve-receives and five setter assists.

Troy's Aryana Andrus and Brenna Jackson were chosen as the NTL "Players of the Year."

Sayre, led by coach Colby Sangrey, has been voted "Coaching Staff of the Year."

FIRST TEAM
Megan Wiles, junior, Athens:
A true floor general, Wiles recorded 453 setter assists on the season, to go along with 103 points, including 36 aces, 162 digs, and 15 kills.

Kayla Forbes, freshman, Athens:
Forbes made a Hugh impact in her first varsity season, recording team-highs with 304 digs and 396 serve-receives, to go along with 114 points, including 45 aces, 12 assists, three kills, and two blocks.

Also named to the first team were NP-L's Haley Litzelman, Towanda's Brynsen Vargason, Karis Flynn, and Brooklyn Evans, and Troy's Haidyn Watson.

SECOND TEAM
Lainey Vosburgh, sophomore, Athens:
Vosburgh is another first-year varsity player who made a big impact for the Wildcats. She was second on the team with 367 serve-receives and 208 digs, to go along with 56 points, including 20 aces, five assists, and five kills.

Also named to the second team were NP-L's Kameron Lightner, Troy's Alexa Lawrence, Wellsboro's Peyton Keane, and Towanda's Mariah Long and Cadence Wells, Towanda.
