Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY — The 2025-26 basketball season tips off this afternoon with the Waverly girls in action at the Bill Middleton Tip-Off Tournament at Baldwinsville High School.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Waverly vs. Massena, 3 p.m.: The Wolverines are coming off a 17-4 season that ended with a loss to Chenango Forks in the Class B semifinals, while the Red Raiders struggled through a 3-15 season.
The other opening-round game features host Baldwinsville against Syracuse West.
The consolation game is set for Saturday at 2 p.m., with the championship game set for 3:30 p.m.
