ELMIRA — Athens grad J.J. Babcock, a senior on the Elmira College men's basketball team, had his first double-double of the season in the Soaring Eagles' 90-84 win over Penn State-Brandywine.
Babcock, who was 2-for-2 from 3-point range, scored 13 points and hauled down 10 rebounds, to go along with four asissts, one blocked shot and one steal in 31 minutes of action.
On the season, Babcock has started all six of Elmira's game and is playing 21.8 minutes per game. He is averaging 5.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.
Elmira College, now 3-3, returns to action tonight when it hosts SUNY Environmental Science & Forestry.
