THE VALLEY — Over the last two weeks, there hasn't been a ton of action, but there have been some big performances. Tioga senior Logan Bellis, Waverly senior Mira Kittle, and Waverly junior Ryleigh Judson posted impressive performances and are the VSR / Bishop Brothers Construction "Athletes of the Week," for the weeks ending Nov. 22 and Nov. 29.
BELLIS NAMED BISHOP BROTHERS BOYS "ATHLETE OF THE WEEK"
Bellis has recorded back-to-back 200-yard games in the state playoffs wins in workhorse fashion.
In a 28-14 win over Lowville in the state quarterfinals, Bellis rushed for 230 yards and three TDs on 28 carries. He scored on runs of 14, 1 and 24 yards, and also added a pair of two-point conversion runs.
In a 20-16 win over Newfane in the state semifinals, Bellis rushed for 211 yards and two TDs on 31 carries. He scored on runs of 46 and 5 yards, and added a two-point conversion run.
Bellis also shined on the defensive side of the ball. He had eight tackles in the Lowville win, and 13 in the Newfane win, including three tackles-for-losses.

KITTLE, JUDSON NAMED BISHOP BROTHERS GIRLS "ATHLETES OF THE WEEK"
Kittle earned three more state medals at the New York State Swimming & Diving Championships to bring her career total to 10 to earn her "Athlete of the Week," for the week ending Nov. 22.
Kittle placed third in the 50-yard freestyle, and fifth in the 100-yard backstroke. She also anchored the fifth-place 200-medley relay team, swimming a personal-best time of 22.93 seconds in her freestyle split.
Judson averaged 16 points, 5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 4.5 steals per game to help Waverly reach the finals of the Baldwinsville Tip-Off Tournament. She is the "Athlete of the Week" for the week ending Nov. 29.
Judson had 19 points, seven rebounds, four assists, eight steals and one block in ab season-opening win over Massena. She followed that up with 13 points, three rebounds, three assists, and one steal in a loss to Baldwinsville in the finals.
