ITHACA — Waverly had five individual top-10 finishes and also had a pair of relays crack the top-10 here Saturday afternoon at the Hurley Indoor Track & Field Invitational at Ithaca College.
BOYS
Sophomore Jaxon Chandler placed eighth in the high jump at 5-feet 3-inches via fewer misses, and sophomore Wyatt Chandler was 10th at the same height.
Senior Logan Roskow placed eighth in the 1,000-meter run in a time of 2:54.2.
The foursome of Roskow, juniors Jayden Washington and Chase Hine, and sophomore Garret Akins finished eighth in the 3,200-meter relay in a time of 10:01.73.
Waverly's 1,600-meter relay foursome of Jaxon Chandler, seniors Andrew Larrabee and Hayden Howe and freshman Ethan Reedy finished ninth in a time of 4:10.15.
Jaxon Chandler finished 11th in the 55-meter hurdles in a time of 9:26.
Senior Aiden Doherty finished 18th in the shot put with a heave of 34-feet, 6-inches. He was 19th in the weight throw with a toss of 32-feet, 2 3/4-inches.
Hine was 23rd in the 1,600-meter run in a time of 5:07.54.
Wyatt Chandler finished 24th in the 300-meter dash in a time of 42.43 seconds.
Howe was 24th in the 600-meter run in a time of 1:40.19.
GIRLS
Freshman Anna Fassett placed seventh in the weight throw with a heave of 24-feet, 4 3/4-inches, and senior Madison Cron was 11th at 22-feet.
Senior Mackenzie Chamberlain finished ninth in the 3,000-meter run in a time of 12:23.09, and junior Taylor Sinsabaugh was 15th in 13:54.39.
Sophomore Gianna Soprano finished 16th in the 300-meter dash in a time of 47.26 seconds, and senior Haley Larrabee was 20th in 47.94 seconds.
