Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY — Basketball takes center stage during the week, but Saturday features a host of wrestling, including Tioga at the New York State, Division 2 Duals.
There are 27 events on this week's docket, including six on Friday, and the four snowed out on Monday.

• Athens hosts Sayre in a renewal of their girls basketball rivalry.
• The Tioga boys host high-scoring Candor on the basketball hardwoods.
• Tioga hosts Union Springs on the hardwoods at the Valley Bowling Center.
WEDNESDAY (4)
• Sayre hosts Athens in a renewal of their boys hoop rivalry.
• Tioga hosts Groton and Newark Valley in a girls wrestling double dual.
THURSDAY (5)
• Athens hosts Towanda in an NTL girls basketball match-up.
• Athens closes out its home season in the pool when it hosts Wellsboro.
• Tioga hosts hosts Newfield on the girls basketball hardwoods.
FRIDAY (6)
• Waverly hosts Norwich in a STAC girls basketball contest.
• Sayre hosts Williamson in an NTL Small School basketball match-up.
• The Tioga girls host their second hoop games in as many nights, this time against O-M.
SATURDAY (4)
• Tioga is in action at the New York State Division 2 Wrestling Duals.
• Athens will be in action at the Williamsport Girls Wrestling Showcase.
