THE VALLEY — Wrestling takes center stage Saturday with Tioga wrestling for a New York State Duals title, and Athens wrestling at the District 4 Duals for a berth in the PIAA Championships.

WRESTLING
New York State, Division 2 Duals, 9 a.m. @ SRC Arena, Onondaga CC:
The Tigers, who won three straight State Duals titles from 2022-24, are the 8-seed will wrestle in pool play against 1-seed Miller Place from Section XI, and unseeded Eden of Section VI.

Shoreham-Wading River of Section XI is the 2-seed and will be in pool play against 7-seed Peru of Section VII, and unseeded Nanuet of Section I

Section X's Gouverneur is the 3-seed and will face 6-seed Port Jervis of Section IX, and unseeded Canisteo-Greenwood of Section V in pool play.

Section VIII's Seaford is the 4-seed and will square off with 5-seed Marcellus-Onondaga of Section III and unseeded Corinth of Section II in pool play.

The first round of pool play begins at 9 a.m., with the semifinals set to begin at 2:30 p.m., and the finals scheduled for 5 p.m.

PIAA, District 4 Duals @ Milton H.S., 3 p.m.: Second-seed Athens takes on third-seed Shikellamy in the semifinals, while top-seed Selinsgrove squares off with forth-seed CMVT.

The finals and consolation match are set for 5 p.m.
