Valley Sports ReportEAST STROUDSBURG — Junior Hudson Malanoski and senior Emma Cole registered top-10 finishes here Saturday at the NEPA Throwers' Invitational at East Stroudsburg South High School.
Malanoski place fourth out of 39 throwers in the shot put with a personal best-best heave of 45-feet, 8-inches.
Cole placed sixth out of 29 throwers in the discus with a toss of 91-feet, 1-inch, and was ninth out of 27 in the shot put with a personal-best effort of 26-feet.
Sayre kicks off the dual meet season Wednesday in a quad meet at Athens Wednesday afternoon.
