Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY — The Waverly softball team will throw its first pitch and field its first grounder of the 2026 season this afternoon in a road game at Chenango Valley.

Waverly at Chenango Valley, 5:30 p.m.: The Wolverines are coming off a 10-10 season that ended with a loss to Susquehanna Valley in th Class B semifinals, while the Warriors finished 10-7.
Chenango Valley won both meetings against Waverly in 2025, winning 13-1 at home, and 9-6 at Waverly two weeks later.
