Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY — There are just two games on Monday's docket, with the Tioga baseball and softball teams traveling to the Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex in Cortland to take on Marathon in IAC crossover action.
BASEBALL
Tioga (0-1) vs. Marathon, 4:30 p.m.: After three consecutive postponements, Tioga will return to action this afternoon, albeit in very cool temperatures in the mid-40.
Tioga dropped its season-opener to Moravia, 5-2, last Monday.
SOFTBALL
Tioga (1-0) vs. Marathon, 4:30 p.m.: The Tigers are coming off a 15-5 win over Moravia last Monday, while the Olympians will open the season.
