ELMIRA'S HUGHES NAMED ZIFF LAW FIRM BOYS REGIONAL "ATHLETE OF THE WEEK"
Hughes recorded 14 points — eight goals and six assists — to help the Express to wins over Whitney Point and U-E.
Hughes had a hat trick in a 6-3 win over Whitney Point Wednesday.
Hughes followed that up with five goals and six assists in a 17-3 win over U-E on Friday.

WELLSBORO'S HOPRICH NAMED ZIFF LAW FIRM GIRLS REGIONAL "ATHLETE OF THE WEEK"
Hoprich earned seven wins on the week — four at a tri-meet and three more at the Molly Dry Invite.
Hoprich won the 100- and 200-meter dash, and was on the winning 400- and 1,600-meter relays in lead the Hornets to wins over Wyalusing and Troy on Tuesday.
On Thursday, won the 100- and 200-meter dashes, and was on the winning 400-meter relay as the Hornets finishes second at the Molly Dry Invite.
