Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY — Addison Hunt and Sophia Sileo paced Waverly in a win over Horseheads here Thursday afternoon in STAC girls golf action here at Tomasso's Golf Course.
Hunt shot a 48, and Sileo carded a 49 to lead the Wolverines to a four-player aggregate score of 213, while Jemma Randall had a 52 for the Blue Raiders, who shot a 246.
Olivia Cheresnowsky had a 55 for Waverly, and Emilia Mitchell added a 61, while Alaina Nichols tacked on a non-scoring round of 62.
S-VE's Lauryn Gillett earned low-medal honors with a 46, but the Panthers only had two golfers.
Waverly, now 5-2, returns to action next Thursday when it hosts Horseheads again.
