Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY — In the busiest week of the spring season, Athens and Sayre each have one home event and Tioga has two, while Waverly will have 10 events at home..
Athens plays five softball games and three baseball games this week — all on the road, while Tioga has four softball and three baseball games — all on the road.
There are 42 events on the docket this week, including 12 on Tuesday, and eight on Friday.
The following are all of the home varsity events this week, and a few of the notable road events:

• The Tioga baseball and softball teams are at Moravia.
TUESDAY (12)
• Unbeaten Waverly baseball hosts Chenango Valley.
• Athens hosts NEB, Troy and Williamson in a four-team NTL track & field meet.
• Tioga golf hosts Candor at the Tioga Golf Course.
• Tioga hosts O-M in an IAC Small School track & field dual.
WEDNESDAY (7)
• Sayre hosts Canton in NTL baseball action at Riverfront Park.
• Waverly softball hosts Chenango Valley.
THURSDAY (6)
• Waverly hosts Horseheads in a girls golf match at Tomasso's Golf Course.
• Waverly softball hosts Oneonta.
• Waverly boys tennis hosts Susquehanna Valley.
FRIDAY (8)
• Athens and Waverly are in action Friday at the Lasagna Track & Field Invite at Wyalusing.
• Waverly baseball wraps up its three-game series at home with Chenango Valley.
• Waverly boys tennis hosts Norwich.
SATURDAY (5)
• Waverly softball hosts Addison at 11 a.m. and Vestal at 1 p.m.
• Waverly baseball hosts Norwich.
