ATHENS — Senior Abby Burgess and sophomore Alissa Vough each won four events to lead Athens to wins over Williamson, Troy, and Northeast Bradford here Tuesday afternoon in NTL girls track & field action at Alumni Stadium.

Senior Lizzie Gorsline and sophomore Marlene Roelle were each double-winners for the Lady Wildcats, who improve to 9-2-1.

ATHENS 82, WILLIAMSON 63, TROY 32, NEB 11
Burgess won the 100-meter dash in a time of 12.4 seconds, and freshman Bilikula Wennie was second in 13.53 seconds.

Burgess won the 200-meter dash in 25.88 seconds, and Wennie was third in 28.27 seconds.

Burgess and Wennie teamed with junior Kaitlyn Leonard and freshman Ella Marhefka to win the 400-meter relay in a time of 52.41 seconds.

Burgess, Gorsline, freshman Eden Fedorchak, and Marlene Roelle teamed to win the 1,600-meter relay in a time of 4:30.33.

Vough won the 800-meter run in a time of 2:37.52.

Vough won the 1,600-meter run in a time of 5:38.92, and senior Ava Hughes was fourth in 5:50.52.

Vough also won the 3,200-meter run in a time of 12:57.71, and Hughes was second in 13:00.52.

Vough, Hughes, freshman Stella Unger, and Marlene Roelle won the 3,200-meter relay in a time of 11:25.58.

Gorsline won the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 50.87 seconds. She placed third in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 17.18 seconds.

Senior Evelyn Panek won the high jump, clearing the bar at 4-feet, 10-inches, and senior Elizabeth Denlinger was fourth at 4-feet, 4-inches.

Denlinger won the pole vault at a height of 8-feet, 6-inches, and senior Fiona Coniglio was third at 6-feet.

Sophomore Annika Lezak won the javelin with a throw of 102-feet, 3-inches

Leonard finished second in the triple jump at 31-feet, 8 1/2-inches, and sophomore Savannah Boyles was third at 27-feet, 5 1/2-inches.

Sophomore Maleah Hadlock placed third in the shot put with a heave of 26-feet, 8 1/2-inches, and junior Abby Wagner was fourth at 25-feet, 5 1/2-inches.

Athens returns to action Friday at the Lasagna Invitational at Wyalusing High School.
