COLLEGE SOFTBALL: TIOGA GRAD LUTHER BELTS FIRST HOME RUN AT MORRISVILLE (2026-04-24)

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. — Tioga grad Erin Luther, a freshman on the Morrisville State softball team, recently slugged the first home run of her collegiate career.

Luther, who has started the last five games after getting just three at-bats in the first 20 games, was 1-for-2 with a walk and a two-run home run in the Mustangs' 11-3 loss to Clarkson.

In her five starts, Luther is 5-for-13 with two doubles, one home run, two RBI and  and two runs scored.

In her first start, Luther was 3-for-3 with a double in a 4-2 loss to Elmira College.

On the season, Luther is hitting .375 (6 hits in 16 ABs) with two doubles, one home run, two RBI, and four runs scored.

Morrisville, now 2-23, hosts Fredonia in a doubleheader Friday.
