Valley Sports ReportMORAVIA — Sophomore Vida Rossi, and seniors Gavin Albrecht and Dominic Palmer paced Tioga's efforts here at the Blue Devil Track & Field Relays.
GIRLS
Rossi, junior Sadie Marshall, and freshmen Grace Howey, and Natalie Kemp teamed to win the 800-meter relay in 1:56.4.
Rossi (16-feet, 10-inches for first place individually and freshman Elizabeth Seck (13-feet, 1 1/4-inch) placed seconds in the long jump with a combined distance of 29-feet, 11 1/4-inch.
Rossi, Marshall, Howey, and Kemp teamed to finish third in the 400-meter relay in a time of 53.91 seconds.
Sophomore Amber Bennett (7-feet) and sophomore Audrey Bennett (6-feet) finished third in the pole vault with a combined height of 13-feet.
Aubrey Bennett, Cora Szymanski, Reese Mills, and freshman Carolina Ramp teamed to finish fifth in the 6,400-meter relay in a time of 31:10.62.
Rossi (4-feet, 7-inches, tied for first individually) and Marshall (3-feet, 9-inches) placed sixth in the high jump with a combined mark of 8-feet, 4-inches.
Individually, junior Kendall Ward finished 10th in the discus with a toss of 64-feet, 5-inches.
BOYS
Albrecht (13-feet, 6-inches for first individually) and Palmer (9-feet) finished second in the pole vault with a combined height of 22-feet, 6-inches.
Palmer (5-feet, 6-inches) and Albrecht (5-feet, 3-inches) tied for third in the high jump at a combined height of 10-feet, 9-inches.
Albrecht (20-feet, 7 1/2-inches) and Palmer (17-feet, 1 1/4-inches) finished fourth in the long jump at a combined mark of 37-feet, 8 3/4 inches.
Individually, junior Markel Watkins placed fifth in the shot put with a heave of 34-feet, 7 1/2-inches.
Tioga returns to action Tuesday at Newfield.
