Valley Sports ReportWYALUSING — Junior Hudson Malanoski placed in the top-four in two events, and sophomore Madi Mezzatesta was in the top five in two events to pace Sayre's efforts here Tuesday in an NTL track & field tri-meet.
BOYS
Wyalusing 116, Williamson 58, Sayre 7
Malanoski won the shot put with a heave of 44-feet, 8-inches, and placed fourth in the discus with a toss of 103.feet, 5-inches.
Junior Austin Quattrini placed fourth in the pole vault at 7-feet, 9-inches
GIRLS
Wyalusing 99, Williamson 85, Sayre 1
Mezzatesta placed fourth in the high jump at 4-feet, and was fifth in the 100-meter hurdles in 24.43 seconds.
Freshman Lillyana finished sixth in the 200-meter dash in 32.86 seconds.
Colon was eighth in the 100-meter dash in 15.35 seconds, while sophomore Saphira Allwood was 14th in 17.43 seconds, and junior Maryze Rivera was 16th in 18.31 seconds.
Colon finished ninth in the triple jump at 42-feet, 2-inches.
Mezzatesta finished 14th in the long jump at 11-feet, 4 3/4-inches, while Rivera was 18th at 9-feet, 10 1/2-inches, and Allwood was 22nd in 8-feet, 3/4-inch.
