WAVERLY — Freshman Braiden Judson was a double-winner to lead Waverly to a win over Seton Catholic, but Vestal proved too much for the Wolverines here Monday afternoon in STAC boys track & field action.

Waverly blanked Seton Catholic, 92-0, while Vestal topped the Wolverines, 97.5 to 39.5.

Judson won the 400-meter dash in a time of 56.91 seconds, and senior Hayden Howe was second in 57.34 seconds.

Judson teamed with junior Jayden Washington, and sophomores Drayton DeKay and Jesse Lantz to win the 1,600-meter relay in a time of 3:45.07.

Juniors Rhylee Stotler and Chase Wheeler teamed with Lantz, and freshman Maddex Presher to win the 400-meter relay in a time of 46.04 seconds.

Senior Troy Beeman won the shot put with a heave of 41-feet, 4-inches, and junior Carson Rockwell was fourth at 36-feet, 1 1/2-inches.

Presher was second in the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.88 seconds, and Wheeler was fourth in 11.92 seconds. Presher was also second in the long jump at 17-feet, 2 3/4-inches.

Freshman Wyatt Chandler was second in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 21.61 seconds. He finished third in the high jump at 5-feet.

Stotler finished second in the pole vault, clearing the bar at 11-feet, 6-inches.

Sophomore Liam Arnold was third in the discus with a toss of 97-feet, 5-inches, and Carson Rockwell was fourth at 96-feet, 3 3/4-inches.

Washington finished fourth in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:08.51.

Junior Chase Hine finished fourth in the 1,600-meter run in a time of 4:56.24.

Waverly returns to action Friday at the Hornell Invitational.
