Valley Sports ReportAPALACHIN — Allison Yoon earned low-medal honors to lead Vestal to a pair of wins, while Waverly posted a 1-2 mark on the day here Tuesday afternoon in STAC girls golf action at the Apalachin Golf Course.
Yoon shot a 38, and Sion Jeung carded a 49 to lead Vestal to a four-player aggregate score of 205, while Maine-Endwell shot 214, Waverly carded a 222, and Moravia was 0-3 on the day with a 229.
Alaina Nichols led Waverly with a 51, while Emelia Mitchell shot a 52, Addison Hunt carded a 58, and Olivia Cheresnowsky added a 61. Adriana Presher tacked on a non-scoring round of 63.
Zoi Anastos and Lizzy Maraski both shot rounds of 50 to lead M-E, and Caroline Wasileski had a 51 to pace Moravia.
Waverly, now 9-7, returns to action Thursday at Catatonk Golf Course against S-VE.
