Valley Sports ReportWYSOX — Towanda pounded out 14 hits in support of Leila Cobb's one-hitter in a 10-0 five-inning win over Sayre here Thursday afternoon in NTL softball action.
Senior Rylee Lantz stroked a two-out single in the first inning for the Redskins' only hit.
Cobb, who retired the last 13 batters she faced, fanned four and walked none in five innings for the win.
Peyton Perry led Towanda with three hits, three stolen bases and two runs scored, and Brooklyn Evans doubled and singled, scored one run, and had three RBI.
Sayre, now 1-15, travels to Sullivan County Saturday.
