Valley Sports ReportCANDOR — Addison Hunt and Emelia Mitchell shared low-medal honors, and led Waverly to a six-stroke win over Candor here Thursday afternoon in Section IV girls golf action at the Catatonk Golf Course.
Hunt and Mitchell each shot rounds of 54 to lead the Wolverines to a four-player aggregate score of 226, while Kaedyn Everhart shot a 55 for the Coyotes, who tallied 232.
Sophia Sileo shot a 56 for Waverly, and Olivia Cheresnowsky added a 62.
Alaina Nichols and Adriana Presher tacked on rounds of 64 and 65, respectively.
Waverly, now 10-7, returns to action Thursday when it hosts Elmira at the Dry Brook Golf Course (formerly Tomasso's).
