Valley Sports ReportHORSEHEADS — Emilia Mitchell shared low-medal honors as Waverly pulled out a one-stroke win over Horseheads here Monday afternoon in Section IV girls golf action at Soaring Eagles Golf Course.
Mitchell carded a 51 on the par-36 back nine to share low-medal honors with Horseheads' Lydia Rockwell in the Wolverines' 213-214 win.
Addison Hunt shot a 53 for Waverly, while Sophia Sileo had a 54, and Olivia Cheresnowsky added a 55.
Alaina Nichols tacked on a non-scoring round of 63, and Tabby Lynn had a 79.
Jemma Randall carded a 52 for the Blue Raiders, while Lacey Titsworth added a 55, and Ellie Padgett shot a 56.
O-M, which only had three golfers, was led by Brooke Burns, who shot a 55.
Waverly wraps up the regular season Thursday when it hosts Dry Brook Golf Course.
