Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY — Waverly picked up a lopsided win over Elmira, but dropped by a four-stroke decision to Maine-Endwell here Thursday afternoon on Senior Night in Section IV girls golf action at Dry Brook Golf Course.
Senior Sophia Sileo shared low-medal honors to lead Waverly to a four-player aggregate score of 213, while Elmira carded a 269.
Zoe Anastos also shot a 50 to lead M-E to a 209.
Sophomore Emelia Mitchell shot a 52 for the Wolverines, while senior Addison Hunt carded a 53, and senior Olivia Cheresnowsky added a 58.
Alaina Nichols and Adrianna Presher shot non-scoring rounds of 61 and 63, respectively, for Waverly.
Waverly returns to action Monday at Soaring Eagles Golf Course.
