Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY — Waverly vies for its first Section IV title since 2013 — and second overall — this afternoon when it hosts Maine-Endwell in Game Three of the Class A best-of-three championship series.

2-Maine-Endwell (13-10) at 1-Waverly (20-4), 5 p.m.: The Wolverines won Game 1, 4-0, at home on Tuesday, but the Spartans answered with four runs in the first inning of Game 2 on their way to a 5-1 win to even the series.
The winner advances the New York State, Class A Championships.
