ATHENS — Jorey Raupers tossed a perfect game, and received plenty of run support in a 15-0 three-inning win over Troy here Thursday evening to wrap up East pool play in the District 15 Minors Division baseball playoffs with a 4-0 record.
Jorey Raupers fanned five of the nine batters he faced in picking up the win.
Hudson Glielmi was 3-for-3 with a double, two runs scored, and two RBI, and Jorey Raupers was 3-for-3 with two runs scored, and two RBI to pace Athens' 13-hit attack.
Rocco Powers doubled and singled, scored one run, and had three RBI, and Witten Altieri singled twice, scored one run and knocked in one run in the win, while Moyer Campbell doubled, scored two runs, and drove in two runs, and Colson Bishop singled and scored three runs.
Briley Owens singled, scored one run, and had three RBI for Athens, while Jett Raupers scored two runs, and Holden Zukerman crossed the plate once.
Athens returns to action July 4 in the opening round of bracket play.
