ELKLAND — Connor Robinson tossed a three-inning perfect game, and Athens cruised to a 15-0 win over Allegheny-Elkland in the opening round of the consolation bracket in the District 15 Little League Majors Division baseball playoffs.
Robinson struck out all nine batters he faced in earning the win.
Easton Hubbard was 3-for-3 with a triple and a double, two runs scored, and three RBI, and Robinson homered and doubled, scored two runs, and had four RBI to pace Athens' nine-hit attack.
Landon Briggs doubled and singled, scored one run, and drove in two runs in the win, while Leo Loziere singled and scored three runs, Parker Collum singled and scored one run
Wyatt Raupers scored two runs and knocked in two runs, Beau Hall scored two runs, and Klase Bardo and Lincoln Miller each crossed the plate once.
Athens will now host the loser of Tuesday's game between Towanda and Troy on Thursday.
