The Sports ReportsIt was a strong year for area boys' tennis players with several individuals making runs in the post season.
Leading the pack is Towanda's Baylee Poll, The Sports Reports / Ziff Law Firm All-Region "Boys Tennis Player of the Year."
Poll went 13-1 this past year, going undefeated during the regular season to the be "NTL Player of the Year."
Poll's only lost came in the District IV semifinals to the eventual champion.
Notre Dame's Benicia Del Bianchi Prado went 13-2 this year for the Crusaders, and reach the Section IV State Qualifiers semifinals, earning him the "Newcomer of the Year" honors.
Waverly coach Ron Chamberlain took the Wolverines from an 0-12 season two years to the program's first winning season in the STAC this past year, going 7-5, to be the "Coach of the Year."

Mason Brill, Wellsboro: Brill was 13-2 on the season for the league champion Hornets.
Luke Rothermel, Wellsboro: Rothermel went 11-5 on the season for the league champions.
Dominic Wood, Horseheads: Wood made state qualifiers with teammate Lincoln Chor, while also filling the first singles spot for the Blue Raiders.
Lincoln Chor, Horseheads: Chor qualified for the state qualifiers with his teammate, Dominic Wood, and made the sectional finals in Class A.
Tyler Clark, Edison: Clark went 8-2 on the season for the Spartans, and advanced to the third round of sectionals.
Finn Williams, Waverly: Williams teamed with Tammo Bruns to go 6-3 on the season in first and second doubles.
