Valley Sports ReportSOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — Garrett Larson and Cade Lusk each rushed for two TDs in the first half to lead South Williamsport to a 55-0 win over Sayre here Friday night in NTL Small School Division football action.
Larson scored on a pair of 1-yard runs in the first quarter to help the Mounties to a 14-0 lead.
Cole Gerber connected with Samir Moy on a 31-yard TD pass early in the second quarter to extend the lead to 21-0.
Lusk scored on runs on 3 and 21 yards in a two-minute span midway through the second quarter to give South Williamsport a 35-0 with 5:27 remaining in the first half.
Eli White ran for TDs of 21 and 1 yard in the third quarter for the Mounties to make it 42-0 entering the final 12 minutes.
Hudson Malanoski led Sayre with 113 yards on 29 carries.
Declan Barry completed 2 of 10 passes for 22 yards and was intercepted once. Tyrese Gamby had one grab for 15 yards, and Malanoski had one catch for seven yards.
Sayre, now 0-2, returns to action Friday when it hosts Muncy.
