Valley Sports ReportHAMILTON, N.Y. — Waverly grad Joey Tomasso, a redshirt sophomore on the Division IAA Colgate football team, completed his first pass attempt for the Red Raiders here Saturday afternoon in a 35-10 win over Holy Cross.
Tomasso entered the contest with about four minutes remaining and completed his only pass attempt for a 12-yard gain.
Tomasso, who spent two years at William & Mary, is backing up Jake Stearney, who completed 13 of 21 passes for 278 yards and four TDs, with one interception.
Colgate returns to action next Saturday at Central Michigan.
