WAVERLY — Johnson City rolled to a 7-0 sweep of Waverly here Tuesday afternoon in STAC girls tennis action.

The Wildcats picked up one forfeit at third doubles, and had two 6-0, 6-0 sweeps.

Waverly's Aubrey Everson dropped a 6-1, 6-1 decision to Casey Groome in second doubles, and Morgan Chilson lost 6-1 and 6-0 to Selyn Vanderhorst in third doubles.

Brielle Dillon and Kendal Talada lost 6-1 and 6-1 to Trischell Goodwin and Leah Augostini in first doubles, and Oliver Stotler and Gabriella Iverson dropped a 6-0, 6-2 decision to Abigail Spencer and Sidnei Pace in second doubles.

Sophia Nierstedt and Lilliana Dean lost 6-0 and 6-0 in first and fourth singles, respectively.

Waverly, now 0-2, returns to action Wednesday at Seton Catholic.

Union-Endicott 7, Waverly 0
At Waverly, the Wolverines issued three forfeits in a 7-0 loss to Union-Endicott on Friday afternoon.

Nierstedt, Chilson and Dean were swept — 6-0 and 6-0 — in singles matches, and Dillon and Olivia were swept in the doubles match.
